AIRWORTHY NORSEMAN in CANADA as of 1 NOVEMBER 2003

The Norseman is the oldest design used regularly in commercial service in Canada today, but most are operated only on floats from about May to October.
There are currently 43 Norseman on the Canadian Civil Aircraft Register, but about half are not flying.  Of these, 11 have had their Certificate of Registration cancelled.
 The greatest concentration of airworthy Norseman is in Red Lake, ON where there are five.  Red Lake truly is The Norseman Capital of the World.
